Dowry Still Existing In Society

Dowry still existing in society, believe it or not. Let me first introduce more about dowry. Its a system or tradition of some society where girls are consider as the burden of the family. The bridegroom's family  wants to take assets and properties from the bride's family and sometimes they want dowry forcefully. Its a culture from the Hindu religion. Don't take me wrong, my intention is not to hurt any religion even I'll focus on the truth and source. Actually  The Hindu regious people give properties to their girl child at the wedding time because after marriage the hindu girls have no right to her parents property. Its an old religious tradition of them and somehow its okey. But those people of another religion like Muslims and others take this tradition with a bad intension which is called dowry.

Muslim religion has given rights to the muslim girls to get parents properties even  after getting married. But they are victim of dowry. Muslim women or girls are suffering from this dowry system. Specially, the illiterate village society make this unsocialized activity. Girls children are burden because the poor parents need to pay a huge amount to their girl's marriage. Illiterate people think girl's education is unnecessary but they can't treat their girl child equally with the boy child.
If you are belongs to a rich and good reputed society then you may think I'm telling you a story. I wish that it would be such a story not the truth. Unfortunately, dowry still exists in those society which is even  in under development. I still remember when I opened a newspaper and the almost pages are covers with the dowry issues. Such as, a bride bitten by her husband and in-laws for the dowry, a bride burnt out by fire for the dowry, a bride got divorced for the dowry and the large number of dowry system followers are not belongs to Hindu even another religious people beside the Hindus.
It has also long term bad effects on the society or civilization. We people make tradition, we are not made of tradition. So we people can change some tradition which can help us to prevent unsocialized activity.
Raise your voice against dowry now or else it would be late and ruin many women's life and many society too.
